Nature - The Best Teacher

Nature - The Best Teacher

Flawless are the ways of nature,
Divine creation of gigantic stature.
Gentle and caring as a mother,
She is the life's best teacher.

Subtle and indirect is the nature's principle;
Yet, learning the lessons are very simple.
In silence dawns the sense of freedom,
Invaluable are these pearls of wisdom.

From earth we came and to her we go;
Through the life's journey, on her we grow.
Each part of earth shares something wise;
Enlightened by these, a new era will arise.

Moon is not flawlessly perfect;
Accepting the scars, she has no regret.
As her matchless beauty,
Is the source of everyone's envy.

Human mind is like the moon,
You better realize this soon.
The bright side is all that you see;
The other is hidden, shrouded in mystery.

What you see is just an iceberg's tip.
For the whole you must take an icy dip.
To understand a person is not that simple,
Nor it is easy like a smiley dimple.

Roaring waves in motion at the seashore,
Enact a fact of life you must not ignore.
What goes up should come down,
Those caught unawares will all drown.

Winged birds fly very high,
For miles in the vast blue sky.
But never forget where they stand,
As the ground is where they'll all land.

From sand learn the secret of a relation,
In the heart will blossom a sense of elation.
Grab tightly with force and away it flows,
Hold gently with respect and it'll stay close.

Bliss is like a butterfly.
Go behind it; it flies high.
Catch hold of it; it will die.
But leave it free;
It will descend on thee.

Thoughts are like a floating cloud,
Inside the mind they often crowd.
Be unfazed by either pleasure or torture,
Just realize their transient nature.

No matter how big is a tree,
It shelters all for free.
The tree stays connected to its root,
Each part bearing a precious fruit.

Serene and calm is the humble water's norm,
Flexible to take up any container's form.
Flowing water is dynamic and strong,
All the way singing their melodious song.

Murky lakes are where the lotus blossom,
Yet their radiant beauty is so awesome.
They change their surrounding ambience,
With just their simple presence.

Laws of nature are for all to abide,
No privilege for some to hide.
For as long as a person lives,
The nature never forgives.
