Just a Day to Live!

Just a Day to Live!

Come on! Come On! Wake up.
Give yourself a good shake up.
Hurry! Hurry! Wake up.
Wash away the lazy make up.
Before it is too late!

Rise with a happy yawn,
Like the bright sun at dawn.
With just a day to live,
What is it that you want to give?
Before it is too late!

Don’t be enslaved by what fate has to offer,
As a part of your life’s coffer!
Break free from all shackles with great valour,
Be your destiny’s own master.
Before it is too late!

Untrained mind is a mad monkey,
It keeps jumping from tree to tree.
Control the mind with the power of will,
As a good servant, it shall serve you well.
Before it is too late!

Develop a wit as sharp as an eagle’s eye,
Train a tongue that shall never lie,
Lead a life guided by simplicity,
Have a character marked by humility.
Before it is too late!

Horror spawned by negative creed,
Jealousy fuelled by monstrous greed,
Burn them away by positive seed,
Angelic love replacing demonic hate’s need.
Before it is too late!

All kin who are very near,
Loved ones whom you hold dear,
Show them how much you care,
It is really not an impossible dare.
Before it is too late!

Work like there is no tomorrow.
Laugh like you have never seen sorrow.
Forgive like there was no yesterday.
Love like there will be no other day.
Before it is too late!

Sing to the rhythm of the heart,
This is not at all very hard.
Dance to the beat of the heart,
That is the easiest part.
Before it is too late!

In a day, at least once,
Seek solace in silence.
Show yourself gratitude,
Rejoice in solitude.
Before it is too late!

A Seer spake from the Alter,
Heed to the words of the Elder.
If ignored like an untilled land full of weed,
In the heart and mind is sown a poisonous seed.
And it will be too late!

Decades down the lane,
Supported by a bamboo cane,
A body no longer agile,
Houses a mind that is all senile!
Is it too late?

Hoping for a change in fate,
At the dusk of life’s date,
When you are at heaven’s gate,
Don’t repent, as it is too late!
Just Too Late!!!

A Wish for Her

A Wish for Her

Hey monsoon breeze,
Blow away her unease.
Hey weather of change,
Stop being so strange!
Hey milky moon,
Give her a silky boon,
So she can recover soon.
Hey twinkling stars of the sky,
Let her fly.
Hey fever,
Touch her never.
Hey gentle night,
See that she sleeps tight,
Just like a baby.
Hey silvery cloud,
Wish her aloud…
Good night and sweet dreams.
