Path to Where?

Mysteries of time,
Noone has yet unravelled.
History of time,
Everyone seems to be dazzled.

The very next moment noone knows,
Obscured things that it beholds.
The path of life meanders,
From bygone lanes to the future's Close.

Paths walked by many,
Some made new by a few.
Difference; does it make to any,
Those seeking a destiny true.

Chosen to walk a path that many forbade,
Fearing that I might end up in a gloomy shade.
Chosen by me not to be enslaved by fate,
Destiny at the steps of this life's date.

Bright silvery dawn to gloomy ebony dusk,
Shackles of life around me don't want to rust,
My own choice or the gravest risk?
In me lies an unshakable trust.

Many facets of life that I see,
Teary pearls and smiley diamonds are just some to be.
In this path may lie my destruction,
But in it too lies my Salvation.
